6. Hessian national competition "Animal-friendly horse-keeping"
Since 1999, the Landesbetrieb Landwirtschaft Hessen (LLH), based in Kassel, has organized a competition for animal welfare for horses in Hessen, which is honored with an award from the Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection, Agriculture and Consumer Protection.
The title page of the catalog with the 34 participating horse keeping companies were designed by the artist Christine Bender.
Also the stable plaque, which was awarded to the best participants is, a horse drawing of the artist.
